TTK material is a material comes with oposite characterstics like “electrical discharge processing characteristic” and the “maching processing characteristic”. The performance which is excellent in electrode machining, wire electric discharge machining, and electrical discharge machining was demonstrated by ultrafine particle composition of the micron order, and thus the improvement accuracy of electric discharge and reduction in the amount of sharp edge electrode consumption which could not be accomplished in the conventional graphite material could be realized. It is the material which can greatly contribute not only to “cost down” of metallic mold manufacturing but to “Improvement in quality of metallic mold”.
